Franklin County Hunt/Fish Camp -
Located on 187 acres this house makes a great base camp for hunting in the area
or fishing the tournaments leaving from Poplar Springs or Tugaloo State Park.
There is convenient parking at the house for a couple dozen vehicles, boat
trailers, or campers. Several trails wind through the 187 acres for your 4
wheelers or off-road vehicles (Ride at your own risk.) and a narrow trail
leads to a small cove on the lake. After a day of hunting, fishing or water
sports, unwind on one of the two decks, sit around the campfire, shoot some
pool (or some hoops). On the lower level of the house is a computer,
printer and wireless internet. On the upper level is a TV with Video games.
Tugaloo State Park
(Beach, Playground, Trail, Tennis, Mini-Golf)
is about 4 miles and the Hartwell Golf
Course and Cateechee Golf Club
near Hartwell are 17 miles as is the
Highland Walk Golf Course at Victoria Bryant State Park. In South Carolina The
Chickasaw Point
Course is 12 miles and the
Walker Course at
Clemson is 32 miles. The two regular bedrooms (Queen, Double) are
located on the second level along with the kitchen, two full bathrooms and a
living area with a Pull-Out. A great room downstairs has 3 Queen Futons and two
Double Pull-Outs. It also has a Pool Table and a small kitchen area with a second

| Tugaloo State Park offers scenic picnic areas, nature trails, tennis, volleyball, a well equipped playground, public swim beach with bath house and concession stand, miniature golf, canoe rentals, plus frequent nature and mountain music programs. Several miles of road inside the park are great for bicycling. Gum Log Bar-B-Q is nearby. Clem's Shoal Creek Music Park is only a short drive. | |||
