153 R - Whippoorwill Cabin - Families, friends and couples will all enjoy the amenities of this single level 3 Bedroom / 2 Bath, 1500 Sq. Ft. lake cabin originally built in 1985, enlarged and remodeled in 2006. The charming, rustic cabin sleeps 10 (1 King, 1 Queen, 2 sets of bunk beds and a Queen fold-out couch). Enjoy the wood-burning fireplace; watch wild turkey and deer stroll the property from the generous screen porch, complete with dining area for eight; two additional decks; fully equipped kitchen with industrial-size icemaker, microwave and new dishwasher and refrigerator; hammock; kids toys and games; and outdoor grill. Phone. A gentle slope takes you down to the dock with swim ladder and shallow kids play area (owners boat stays in slip but there is room to tie up on the outside of the dock). Use of the kayak ensures excellent exploring and fishing in this very quiet cove. TV/DVD/VCR/SATELLITE.  15-minute drive to downtown Hartwell. PLEASE NOTE: Unless otherwise specified all the homes we represent have the following features: Lake Front, Private Dock, Washer/Dryer, Central Heat & Air Conditioning, TV, Grill, Microwave, Phone. Smoking is not permitted inside any of the houses and pets are not permitted on the premises except in certain houses and then only if specifically approved by Mountain Lakes. All homes are privately owned and used frequently by the owner, they are fully furnished and well equipped. Homes are rented primarily for summer family vacations but are available at any time of the year.
PRICES: Sales & Accommodations Taxes of 7% -11% and a Reservation/Cleaning fee of $55 - $200 will be added.
